- How could schools differ so much. I would very much like to know how the school lunch program iin the one In Oregon or Washington "got to be" that way!! Sounds fabulous, doesn't it?

- Let me tell you just how it used to be--there never was a broccoli, a fresh vegetable or salad--this would have been in the late '30's, early 40's. Yes the little sweet hair netted ladies would bake wonderful Hot Rolls but that's only what the kids would eat.
